Diatomaceous Earth is used in Dipped Latex manufacturing process for Balloons and Gloves. Diatomaceous Earth is replacement for Mica. Coagulant is made using Calcium Nitrate, Diatomaceous Earth and wetting agent. Aluminium Molds are dipped into this coagulant and then dipped into tank containing latex compound. The coating of coagulant helps in easy stripping of gels from the moulds.
